Dr Abdulhameed graduated from the University of Leeds with a bachelor of dental surgery followed by speciality training in Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology from The University of Western Australia. He achieved the Australian Board of Oral Medicine and became a fellow of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia. Dr Abdulhameed authored several chapters and articles in peer reviewed journals in the field of Oral Medicine and presented posters and lectures at national and international conferences. He authored the recently published handbook 'Oral Medicine Clinical Guide' demonstrating his step-by-step approach for diagnosing oral lesions. He recently completed a fellowship from The University of London where he was appointed as a Researcher and Honorary Lecturer in Oral Medicine until present. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and he was recently appointed as an external examiner in Oral Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is the Scientific Committee Rapporteur of Kuwait Dental Association and is currently working in Kuwait as a specialist in Oral Medicine & Pathology.
